Our listing title is 100 percent guesswork! :)
We have a "sense" that this card was printed around 1910.
The young model holds a lily, often an accoutrement of first communions.
She gazes heavenward with an expression suggestive of religious devotion.
And this "looks" like a German image to us.
There is no indication, apart from a number code, suggestive of a publisher, nor is there any photographer attribution, which is a real shame! We're sorry we can offer no real information on this hauntingly beautiful image. The only thing we can say for certain is that this is a charming, charming, example of artistic portraiture from the early 1900s. We hope you enjoy it too.
A card in nice posted condition. Please examine our high res scans for detail.
Postage is for first class shipping in a secure photo mailer, and we happily combine shipping on all paper goods. If you purchase two cards, the price is the same as for a single card, and when you purchase three or more cards from us at the same time, your shipping will be entirely free, except for international orders which, due to the costs of international shipping will still be charged one card's shipping fees on orders of three or more. We do not charge for insurance or shipping materials, and as of the date of this listing are still charging below our overall cost on shipping.
