From the sub-series of "Heroines" within the over-arching and highly collectible series, "Les Plus Belles Femmes de France," or "The Most Beautiful Women of France," produced by the prolific publisher, promoter and popularist of the French art world, Alfred Noyer, we have this truly marvelous offering. Quintessentially "Flapperesque," we don't know if the model's implied character is that of Beatrice who leads Dante out of purgatory, or one of Shakespeare's greatest comedic heroines, Beatrice, from the play "Much Ado About Nothing," but this is positively one of the most evocative and timely flapper images we've ever had in the shop! The quality of Noyer prints speak for themselves. The back of the card has a green tint to it, no idea why, but there is no noticeable tinge on its face. Wonderful card in very nice condition, though please note the gentle crease in upper left hand corner. Please examine our high res scans for detail.
Postage is for first class shipping in a secure photo mailer, and we happily combine shipping on all paper goods. If you purchase two cards, we will refund the postage on the second card, and when you purchase three or more cards from us at the same time, your shipping will be entirely free, except for international orders which, because of sudden increases in international shipping rates will still be charged one card's shipping fees on orders of three or more.
