Lovely dreamlike, evocative nude. The sheer veil is a great effect...how'd they do that? In our closest crop, we can see that she is smiling, seemingly reaching out, so running towards, rather than away. Very nice Art Nouveau decorative frame surrounding the photograph.
This card was produced by S.I.P. (Societé Industrielle de Photographie), one of the largest, if not the largest, postcard publishers in France at the turn of the century. No indication as to the model's identity, or her photographer's either.
Corners a bit rounded, minor crease in upper left corner, but overall, a real gem that offers a wonderful example of Art Nouveau decorative print work, and early French risque photo-imagery. Please examine our high res scans for detail.
