Superb "paper moon" image published by Rotophot during the very early 1900s (probably around 1905-10). This was before Heinrich Ross, later of RossVerlag, was involved with the company. Rotophot was a German company, with offices and presses throughout Europe and the UK, and was, up until WWI, probably one of the largest, and most influential postcard publishers. Absolutely charming image! She is so cute, and what about those little striped stockings. Hand tinted in beautiful vibrant colors. Very minor corner and edge wear, otherwise a fine, posted card.
