We're pretty ecstatic about this find! At 5 by 7 inches on heavy, gilt edged stock, this is a lovely Victorian era cabinet card of the "unmentionable" sort. Great fashion history artifact! The huge feather boa looks like un-dyed pheasant feathers. Okay...do we know from boas? Nope :) but we're not used to seeing them quite like this. So many wonderful details in this classic nude parlor card.
Great clarity. The mirror image effect, that ever popular shot, is nicely featured in this photograph and speaking of mirrors...wow! what an amazing frame!!!
This has a slight bow in it, not at all unusual in larger format heavy stock photos. Possibly a beautifully decorative period frame is called for! Overall, in very nice condition.
