Not entirely sure what's going on here, but we have decided to pretend that these ladies have parked themselves outside the doors of an exclusive "gentleman's club" in Paris, and have refused to budge before they are formally admitted as members! In any event this is a great image, and lots of fun, with a definite flavor of the period. The reverse side bears the name Guilleminot, a company that produced photographic plates, print paper, and we believe cameras also (though much later), but we do not believe they were actually publishers of postcards. Most likely, this is an RPPC ("real photo postcard") printed on Guilleminot print paper, sometime around 1905, but possibly as late as the 1910s.
A very nice, unposted card. Please examine our high res scans for detail.
Postage is for first class shipping in a secure photo mailer, and we happily combine shipping on all paper goods. If you purchase two cards, we will refund the postage on the second card, and when you purchase three or more cards from us at the same time, your shipping will be entirely free, except for international orders which, because of sudden increases in international shipping rates will still be charged one card's shipping fees on orders of three or more.
