The Dodge Sisters, The Dodge Twins, or The Two Birds of Paradise, was a very successful sister act that rose to great heights in the mid to late 1920s.
Beth and Betty Dodge were twin sisters from Washington state who born in 1909, found success dancing, singing, and doing whistling acts dressed as birds, while still in their teen years. In 1925 they made a small splash in New York, then a bigger splash in London and Europe, even appearing at the Folies Bergere in Paris and then it was back to America and Hollywood. How very, very cute are they? Their career lasted all of about six years until what happened? A man, of course, who broke up the act. Ain't that just the way with sister acts though ? :)

"Lockstep," a rare full version, technicolor even, and wearing convict outfits with metallic stripes and bare midriffs...you really don't want to miss this one! Looks very much as if it was directed by Busby Berkeley.
