Very cute RPPC of a young lady posing in a really wonderful Harlequin costume for a Ste. Catherine's Day féte! Dated 1927. Saint Catherine's Day in France, is celebrated on November 25th. She is the patron saint of women seeking husbands and on her day "Catherinettes" used to dress up in elaborate costume hats, attend parties and even parades. We're not certain of a direct connection between Harlequin and Ste. Catherine, but we love this image :)
