Mireille with Tambourine, Semi-Nude French Postcard, circa 1910sOne of our favorite models, Mireille, in Romany garb with tambourine. This image is one of the classics in the genre and much sought after! Apparently it was sought after back then as well...please note, this is a pirated edition! If we look closely beneath the number in the lower right corner, we can just make out the intentionally muted remains of a publisher's logo...maybe A Noyer? The scalloped edges on this card make it a bit unusual too. A very nice addition to a collection of "french" French postcards of the period!
