We couldn't trace any history for the Guy sisters though something may turn up down the road. Spectacular costumes! Spectacular pose! Card from the series "A Travers Les Coulisses," or "Behind the Scenes." One of our favorite collections, "A Travers" seemed to specialize in run down backstage sets and messy dressing rooms with performers applying make-up and in varying states of undress. Just plain fun! You can practically smell the greasepaint, as they say :) Some cards out of the series featured images of very big names of the period, Mata Hari being one, though we've never run across that card. This image is really one of the more polished out of those we've found in the past.

The item you are considering for purchase is, unless otherwise noted, a vintage postcard of approximately 5 and 1/2, by 3 and 1/2 inches. Postage is for fully-insured, first class shipping in a secure photo mailer (to avoid any damage to your purchase in the mails), and we happily combine shipping on all paper goods.
