Absolutely gorgeous! This card was not produced by a major publisher, but by a local studio or even by dear old dad in his workshop out back. The skill required to create an image like this one, to capture the look on the child's face, the textures of her hair and clothing, just wow. We rarely find an RPPC of this technical quality.
This is an American card printed on AZO photographic paper right around 1907. How do we know? The four corners of the stamp box on the backside are four upward pointing triangles. AZO used that stamp box design between 1904 and 1910. The card has a divided back, creating a space for a message as well as the address. Prior to 1907, American cards had an undivided back, et voila, circa 1907 :) Aren't postcards just so much fun?
