A Heinrich Ross card of silent and talkie actress Evelyn Brent in a really marvelous 1920s (possibly early 30s?) costume.
Born Mary Elizabeth Riggs, Evelyn Brent (1901-1975) was born in Tampa, Florida and as a girl, went by Betty, After losing her mother at an early age, and being brought up by her dad, she moved to New York City with the intention of becoming a teacher, but found more money in modeling, and became involved in the early motion picture industry. She made a number of silent films, as well as appearing on the stage in England, made the transition to the talkies, and later, even appeared in a little television. She was never a huge star, but worked regularly and was admired as a professional. She also appeared on a number of cards in wowie costumes, this being one :) A very nice, unposted card that offers an image so expressive of the flapper era. Please examine our high res scans for detail.

Postage is for first class shipping in a secure photo mailer, and we happily combine shipping on all paper goods. If you purchase two cards, we will refund the postage on the second card, and when you purchase three or more cards from us at the same time, your shipping will be entirely free, except for international orders which, because of sudden increases in international shipping rates will still be charged one card's shipping fees on orders of three or more.
