Lovely card! Very nice condition. Publisher E.P. The card's obverse lacks the vertical dividing line present on later postcards, making it what French collectors label a "precurseur" and dating it to before 1904. Probably right around 1900.
Very pretty barefoot model in a light shift, posed before an Art Nouveau mandala and wearing lots of the bijoux Orientale so popular during that time. A mandolin rests at her feet. Why? Is her heart so filled with music that she could not bear to pluck even a single note? Who can say?
